It was just yesterday we were gushing over Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham's matching white corsets. And, in further proof twinning really is winning, Florence Pugh and Zendaya just stepped out wearing *very* similar ensembles.
The actors attended a photocall in Mexico City yesterday (Monday, 5 February) ahead of the release of their upcoming film, Dune: Part Two also starring Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler. Following in the lead of former co-stars Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johannson and America's Got Talent co-judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara, Florence and Zendaya made sure to coordinate their looks and relied on a shared go-to fashion formula.
Yep, we think we've finally cracked the code on how these two always look so good. It all comes down to crop tops, ab flashes and leg slits – the higher the better.
Case in point: Flo's outfit...
Florence donned a Galvan London teeny tiny crop top and high-waisted maxi skirt featuring a thigh-high leg slit at the side of the design. She relied on her other style go-to, naked dressing, with the 'fit constructed from a see-through fabric overlaid with silver beads in a diamond pattern and further embellished with mirrored diamond charms.
Get a better look at the top's intricate detail in a shot shared by Flo's makeup artist on Instagram:
She accessorised with silver jewellery and opted for rosy-hued makeup with her short hair slicked back, save for a front piece that flipped across her forehead.
Similarly, Zendaya also opted for a crop top and maxi skirt.
Wearing a custom design from Torishéju Dumi's namesake brand, the London-based label officially launched last October with none other than Naomi Campbell walking the runway at the brand's Paris Fashion Week show. Zendaya's look in question consisted of an ab-baring top constructed from twists and folds of olive green, black and grey fabric paired with a low-waist black and red maxi skirt complete with a thigh-high slit and further twisted fabric forming a belt.
Despite Torishéju's signature twisted fabric, draped detailing and sculptural silhouettes derived from the founder's native Brazilian and Nigerian cultures, the result is a futuristic look that isn't dissimilar from Zendaya's Dune character's wardrobe making her choice to wear the designer on the film's press tour *so* appropriate.
With Florence and Zendaya serving monochrome magic together in contrasting looks at their last press event, and matching in all-white ensembles at the CCXP Comic Con Experience back in December, we can't wait to see what they both opt for next.
