Ever since Margot Robbie embarked on the Barbie press tour where she recreated iconic Barbie doll outfits on a human scale in painstaking detail, we've come to expect more from film premiere red carpets. Major snaps to her stylist, Andrew Mukamal. The bar has been officially raised.
Luckily, it seems the cast of Dune: Part Two got the memo, namely Florence Pugh who has kicked things off with a bang at the first few promo appearances. First up, she coordinated with her co-star Zendaya, both rocking matching white outfits at the CCXP Comic Con Experience. Then she donned a Galvan London white lace midi dress for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. And just yesterday, Flo opted for another Galvan ensemble at a photocall in Mexico City, this time a white embellished crop top and maxi skirt co-ord featuring a thigh-high slit.
Yep, she has yet to put a fashion foot wrong. And her latest outing for the film's official Mexico premiere is no exception.
Repping her fourth all-white look of the press tour so far, Florence this time wore a Standing Ground design from the London-based brand's SS24 collection that heavily featured draped jerseys in muted earth tones. Flo's dress consisted of a high round neckline and sleeveless bodice. She freed the nip, going braless under the subtly sheer fabric. The skirt was accented by asymmetric gathering and ruching before descending into a figure-hugging, floor-sweeping silhouette.
Florence accessorised with plenty of silver jewellery including sharp, shard-like earrings that mirrored the textured spiky style of her hair.
With Zendaya seemingly channelling her own Dune character in her looks – from a gathered scarf maxi skirt to an underboob-baring crop top – we have to wonder if Florence is perhaps hinting at her own role in the sequel through her fashion choices. Perhaps Princess Irulan only wears white?
Counting down the days til we can *finally* watch the film and confirm our theory.
