NSW Fire and Rescue Superintendent Adam Dewberry said it was a huge operation that involved more than 20 trucks and 60 firefighters to bring the large building fire under control.

“A large column of black smoke was visible upon arrival, but crews have managed to gain the upper hand and the fire has reduced significantly.

“More than 30 people have been evacuated from the building.”

There are no reports of any injuries.

More to come.
