Female traffic controller’s revenge after driver ignores warning signs

A female traffic controller has pulled a power move after a driver ignored her flashing signals in the middle of the road.

Dashcam footage reveals the moment the young woman tried to box in the vehicle with bright orange cones at an intersection on the Gold Coast.

Seconds earlier the driver had been taped by their own camera, slowing down to pass the traffic controller’s ute, which had been blocking the right turning lane.

They can then be seen manoeuvering between traffic and the ute before stopping at the red light.

A rear facing camera captures the female road worker, dressed in hi-vis, walking toward the intersection and in front of the vehicle.

As she places two large cones before each tyre as the traffic lights turn green.

Moving to the back of the vehicle, the woman can then be seen pulling out another cone to place behind the rear left wheel in an apparent bid to trap the driver in.

But before she gets the chance to place it down the motorist takes off, driving around the cones in front of their car then turning right.

The video, posted to YouTube under ‘bad driving Australia’, has already garnered 20,000 views with many praising the traffic controller’s move.

“Don’t you just hate queue jumpers, tailgaters and road raging,” one person commented. “May karma find them all.”

While others took a different approach.

“I wouldn’t have driven around those traffic ones, I would have driven OVER them!”
