Female police officer 'pinned to pole' in hit-and-run

A female police officer has been struck by a car in a hit-and-run at South Brisbane.

Authorities were responding to an incident in Bouquet Street when the officer was struck shortly after 5am as the vehicle rammed her patrol car.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia they were looking for the white SUV responsible.

Queensland Ambulance Service said the police officer was transported stable with minor injuries to the Mater Private Hospital.

Nine News reported the officer was pinned to a pole.
