Fears for Qld miners and 'roid rage'

There's mounting concern about the use of steroids by Queensland's fly-in, fly-out miners, a drug testing advocate says.

Australian Workplace Drug Testing Services managing director Tony Graham says mines are becoming increasingly concerned about steroid abuse by restless, mostly male, workers and the potential risks for the workplace.

"(But) most companies don't test for steroids - it's very expensive," he told AAP.
