Father jailed for 'brutal, cowardly' murder of his own son
A Canberra father has been jailed for at least 41 years after pleading guilty to murdering his nine-year-old son.
Bradyn Dillon suffered weeks of abuse, including being thrown against walls and being burned by lit cigarettes.
On the day he died in 2016, his father Graham failed to call an ambulance for hours as Bradyn lay unconscious after he had been hit in the head.

On Monday an ACT judge described his actions as brutal, cowardly and callous, sentencing Graham Dillon to 36 years for murder and five more years on other charges including choking and threatening to kill.
