Fanatical Putin supporter allegedly stabs pregnant lover to death

A Russian children’s entertainer who is a fanatical supporter of Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine has been detained for allegedly fatally stabbing his lover in front of her 11-year-old son.

Pregnant Aina Dalskaya, 35, died from knife wounds to her chest. They were allegedly inflicted by Pavel Ivanov, 31.

Dalskaya and Ivanov worked together as children’s performers, posing as PAW Patrol, Spiderman, Lady Bug, and Harry Potter.

CCTV images obtained by Mash media outlet, show how the victim collapsed on the floor of a computer hall in Vsevolozhsk, near St Petersburg, soon after being stabbed in front of her shocked son.

Paramedics were unable to save the mum.

CCTV cameras also allegedly captured the suspect running from the scene.

Dalskaya had left her husband Dmitry Dalsky to be with Ivanov but their relationship had become difficult, prompting her to move out and back in again.

Her former spouse told Mash he had been talking to the 35-year-old when she was killed.

"I was on a video call with Aina at that moment," Dalsky said.

"She was standing with her back to the entrance, [a man] approached, stabbed her, snitched the phone, grabbed her bag and took out the money and ran away."

Ivanov has been arrested by law enforcement officials.

"He is currently being interrogated on the circumstances of the crime," the Russian Investigative Committee said.

"In the near future, he will be charged and a measure of restraint will be chosen."
