Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleaner

“This gentle foaming cleanser contains blueberries, which are rich in antioxidants, hyaluronic acid,…and AHAs to gently exfoliate,” says Merry Thornton, PA-C Board Certified Dermatology Physician Assistant, licensed skincare expert, and Founder of Element Medical Aesthetics in New Canaan, CT. Thornton calls it “everything I love” in one skincare product.

Sephora Collection Sephora Colorful Lip Gloss Balm

Thornton is a big fan of the Sephora Collection Clean Glossy Lip Oil (specifically in grape), but it sold out before we even had the chance to include it. She loves that it’s “not sticky” and calls it “the perfect texture,” and despite its affordable  $5 price point, she considers it “superior to other expensive lip oils.” Luckily, the Sephora Collection Sephora Colorful Lip Gloss Balm is extremely similar. The main difference is it isn’t sheer, and instead, provides the lips with a bold pop of non-sticky color.

Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Tinted Moisturizer with Niacinamide and SPF 40

The Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Tinted Moisturizer has nearly 49,000 hearts on and is a Sephora exclusive. It’s great for days you want to go minimal on your makeup. It provides lightweight, natural coverage and color-corrects to even out your skin tone.

“I love how sheer and dewy this product is,” Thornton says. “It has niacinamide, which is an antioxidant, glycerin to hydrate, and SPF to protect, which is always important.”

Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil

Take a page out of a skincare expert’s handbook and always precleanse before you “regular” cleanse to ensure all your lingering makeup is wiped away before you  deeply cleansing the skin.

“This melts away waterproof makeup,” Thornton explains. “Since like dissolves like, the oil does a great job of dissolving sebum and debris.”

But don’t just take Thornton’s word for it. This Dermalogica product also has 1,300 rave reviews on, with customers rating it highly for satisfaction, smell, and cleansing ability. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and works best for banishing skincare concerns like large pores, redness, acne, and blemishes.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez has fast become one of the beauty industry’s most popular brands, particularly among Gen-Z and TikTok. Rachel Lee Lozina, a New York State-licensed Esthetician and owner of Blue Water Spa, can see why and highly recommends its tinted lip oil.

“This innovative gel/oil emulsion leaves behind the perfect tint that never becomes sticky and gives lip stain vibes with a lip mask feel,” Lozina says, adding that Happy is her favorite shade in the lip oils. “It’s packed with jojoba and sunflower oils that leave the lips nourished and never dry. Plus, it’s paraben-free, vegan- and cruelty-free.” It’s available in eight different shades, ranging from a cool light pink to a deep berry.

Saie Glowy Supergel

The Saie Glowy Supergel is for shoppers that love a lightweight yet dewy highlighter. This liquid formula is made without any silicones and is vegan and cruelty-free, too. You can apply it to prep your skin, use it as a spot highlighter, mix it in with your regular moisturizer or foundation for a natural sheen, or even wear it in your arms and legs for an all-body glow.

“This water-based product hydrates and brightens,” Thornton explains and also recommends the Starglow - Universal Champagne shade. “It has the perfect amount of sheen to provide a dewy look…and contains glycerin to hydrate, vitamin C to brighten, and rosehip seed oil to moisturize.”

K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask

Despite a background in skincare and dermatology, Thornton also believes it’s very important to take care of your hair, too—especially if you’re prone to damage from heat styling tools or hair dye.

“[K18] helps reverse damage in four minutes, and is a must for anyone who has colored their hair,” Thornton says. “It makes the hair so smooth and prevents split ends.”

This leave-in product is bond-building, which means it is formulated to rebuild hair and reverse damage. It’s full of peptides (amino acids that restore the hydration in damaged hair) and, with just a few uses, can improve strength, texture, elasticity, and appearance of damage.
