Everyone is swooning over Kate Middleton's 'push present' from Prince William

While all eyes may have been on Meghan Markle and her dazzling tiara on her wedding day to Prince Harry on Saturday, people are now noticing her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, was sporting some new bling of her own.

The 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge arrived wearing a cream Alexander McQueen dress we’ve seen her in three times previously, and was spotted wrangling the adorable bridesmaids and pageboys out of the car.

However, while everyone was gushing over the cute kids, it seems nobody noticed the incredible ring on Kate’s finger, which is believed to have been a push present from her husband, Prince William.

After Meghan and Harry said their ‘I do’s’ the royal family, including Kate, congregated on the steps of St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

That’s where we got a full view of the massive sparker on her right hand, which is apparently a new part of her personal collection since the birth of Prince Louis on April 23rd.

The ring appears to have a huge citrine stone in the middle, surrounded by a white gold band.

A push present is a relatively new concept, where the partner of the new mum gives them a gift after they give birth.

It comes after Kate was spotted making a major wedding faux pas at the event, by showing up in a cream dress that photographed as white.

Holding hands with Princess Charlotte and another flower girl, Kate beamed from ear-to-ear as she made her way up the steps of St. George’s Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

However, wearing white to a wedding is seen by many as being a massive outfit faux pas.

Usually, it appears like the guest is trying to upstage the bride, who traditionally wears white.

“Out of respect to the bride and the legacy of tradition, go with another colour,” Lindsey Sachs, wedding planner and owner of COLLECTIVE/by Sachs told Martha Stewart Weddings.

“Whether you know the bride’s stance on this topic or not, you can’t go wrong by playing it safe.

“By not wearing white, you won’t end up the topic of conversation among other curious guests and, most importantly, your wardrobe choice won’t detract from the bride who deserves to be honored on her wedding day as the leading lady in white.”
