Even Jeff Probst can't believe the wild ending on 'Survivor': 'Never seen a moment like this'

It was a crazy night of twists and turns on Survivor, Wednesday, which began with Lindsay losing a Do or Die to Jonathon and then playing a game of chance to avoid elimination. Lindsay guessed correctly and advanced to the final six.

Worried that she would be voted off, Drea played her trump card. “I've heard that my name has been out there a few times and luckily my work from earlier in the season helped me find this amazing advantage, the Knowledge Is Power advantage,” she announced.

The advantage allowed Drea to ask one player if they had an idol or advantage and seize it. Since she knew Mike had an idol, she already had a plan in place in case Lindsay survived.

“Basically. I'm gonna take his immunity idol,” she revealed to Omar. “You're the only person I've told, Omar.”

Turns out Drea made a big mistake trusting Omar with her knowledge of her advantage, because he ended up warning Mike - who in turn gave Omar the idol for safe keeping. Despite playing a great game, her misstep ultimately cost her as she was voted out.

Viewers loved all the plot twists and backstabbing almost as much as Jeff Probst.

“Never seen a moment like this,” Jeff said. “I got to say, just as a viewer, I can't think of a season where I've ever seen this much fierce gameplay and camaraderie. This is the ideal way, in my mind, for Survivor to be played.”
