How much do employees at Google, Facebook get paid?
Working for the likes of Google and Facebook sounds like a dream, and it turns out the salary at those companies is dreamy too.
According to PayScale, which surveys real employees’ salaries, found the average salary at Google is $114,000, while the average salary at Facebook is slightly higher: $119,000.

Yahoo Finance looked at the average salaries of different roles at Google and Facebook on PayScale:
Software engineer salary at Google, Facebook
The average pay for a software engineer at Google in Sydney is $115,827. But, salaries can range anywhere from $76,000 to $152,000 depending on experience.
At Facebook, that salary jumps to$126,097. The range is also higher: depending on experience, your salary could be anywhere between $94,000 and $164,000.
A senior software engineer at Google could earn $154,702, with the range being anywhere between $116,00 and $189,000. At Facebook, a senior software engineer earns, on average, $153,905.
Technical program manager salary at Google, Facebook
The average pay for a technical program manager at Google is $138,866.
The average salary for the same role at Facebook is $130,167.
Product manager salary at Google, Facebook
The average pay for a product manager, software, at Google is $127,031, but employees can earn up to $171,000 depending on experience.
At Facebook, the same role will earn you on average $132,433, and employees can earn up to $183,000 depending on experience.
Data scientist salary at Google, Facebook
Data scientists at Google earn, on average, $130,096, but can earn up to $172,000.
The same role at Facebook will see you banking $121,772 on average, or up to $161,000 depending on experience.
Account manager salary at Google, Facebook
An account manager at Google can earn anywhere between $50,000 and $108,000, while account executives can earn between $54,000 and $129,000.
At Facebook, account managers are earning anywhere between $47,000 and $108,000.
Recruiter salary at Google, Facebook
A recruiter for Google can earn anywhere between $44,00 and $102,000.
Doing the same role at Facebook could see you bank a little extra, with salaries ranging between $50,000 and $127,000.
