Emergency bushfire warnings have been upgraded for several areas south of Perth, with lives and homes under threat.
The warning from WA authorities covers the Spectacles, Orelia, Medina, Naval Base, Postans, Kwinana Beach and Hope Valley in the city of Kwinana.
The warning says people are in danger and need to act immediately to survive.
It says for people in the area bounded by Beard Road to the north, Rockingham Road to the east, Thomas Road to the south and the coast, it is too late to leave, with hazardous fumes in the air from a rubbish tip fire.
Residents have been advised to remain inside with doors and windows closed.
The bushfire is described as moving fast in a west north westerly direction.
An emergency warning has also been issued for an area bounded by Albany Highway, Dorothy Street, Mills Road West and Tonkin Highway in Gosnells.
Homes in Riverside Gardens are currently under threat.
People in those areas are advised if the way is clear they should leave for a safer place, and if they cannot leave, to get ready to shelter in their home.
Both fires are out of control and unpredictable.
