Elderly woman rushed to hospital after being trampled by 600kg bull

An elderly woman is in a critical condition after she was rammed and trampled by a 600kg bull on a regional Queensland property.

The woman in her 70s was rushed to hospital after suffering significant chest injuries at at a property at Peak Crossing, south of Ipswich on Wednesday night.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told Yahoo7 News the injuries were concerning.

“She was conscious but paramedics were extremely concerned about the trauma and significant injuries she suffered,” the spokesperson said.

The woman was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with Critical Care and High Acuity Response paramedics on board.

She remains in a critical but stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
