An 86-year-old man has escaped injury after two male teens and a woman broke into his house in central Queensland and threatened him with a knife.

Police say the trio entered his Boreham St home in West Rockhampton about 12.30am on Saturday, then cut the man's phone line, drank his alcohol, used the knife to damage property and stole items.

Two teens and a 21-year-old woman have been charged with entering with intent, armed robbery, stealing and wilful damage, with the woman due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday.
