Four people have died within 24 hours in separate crashes on Victorian roads.

A motorcyclist, aged in his 30s, died when his bike left the road and crashed into a tree in Toolangi about 5.10pm on Friday.

An hour earlier, an elderly man, aged in his 80s, was killed when two cars collided in Cobram.

A 95-year-old woman also died on Friday after a taxi smashed into a minibus carrying 12 adults on Tuesday afternoon in Ardmona, near Shepparton.

An 80-year-old female passenger from the bus also died at the scene.

A 49-year-old Hastings man died when his car crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a petrol tanker in Tyabb on Thursday night.

Police are treating that crash as a deliberate self harm incident.
