Two dead in rural NSW car crashes

A motorcyclist has died in a crash in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Emergency workers were called to Howes Valley, south of Singleton, just before 9.30am on Saturday.

Police say a man believed to be in his 40s was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

The fatal crash follows the death of a 30-year-old male driver in a collision on the Oxley Highway at Tamworth on Friday.

A 72-year-old man was also killed when the car he was a passenger in collided with a truck at Orange on Thursday.
