Martin discovers the truth about Ricky Jr
After Ricky Jr pays Lily a visit in Monday’s episode, Martin works out that he must be the father of her baby.
His first move is to threaten to tell the Brannings’ and even the police. So, a terrified Lily rushes off to break the news to Ricky, who after being told, scarpers in a panic, only to then blurt out the truth to Sam. She, though, blows her chance to console him and upsets him further by revealing that she’s moving to Germany with Ricky.

The Brannings’ and the Slaters’, meanwhile, have a showdown about the situation and harsh words are exchanged. Phil and Kat, though, are venting their anger at Sam for abandoning her son — a situation made worse when an oblivious Ricky gets down on one knee and proposes.
The week’s drama ends with Jack taking Ricky Jr for his interview at the police station, where they’re later joined by Sam, who finally wants to support her son. But back on the Square, Ricky is stressed that Sam may end up missing their plane. When she finally arrives home, Ricky tries to hurry the situation along, but will Sam end up leaving with Ricky and Scarlett?
Lola and Jay’s wedding day drama
Lola manages to have an undeniably terrific hen night, but she awakes on the morning of her wedding feeling unwell and admits to Kim that she’s experiencing worrying symptoms.
On the way to the ceremony, Kim and Lola take a detour to the hospital so the bride can get checked out – all of which leaves Jay in a panicked state at the venue because the woman he’s planning on marrying is nowhere to be seen.
So, the big question is: will the two of them get married? Well, Lola will be seen telling Kim on Wednesday that she can no longer go through with it. And, on Thursday, Lola then turns up at the register office and asks to have a word with Jay. Just what does she want to say to him?
Patsy Kensit debuts as Lola’s mum Emma
After a false start in his search for Lola’s mum, Phil puts out some feelers and eventually comes up with the goods – contact details for Emma Harding.
Billy then meets up with Emma (who’s played by Patsy Kensit) at her work and tells her who he is – but will she agree to attend Lola’s wedding? Jay, meanwhile, has discovered what Billy up to thanks to Honey accidentally letting slip, and so also heads to Emma’s workplace, where he goes mad at Billy for going behind Lola’s back.
Reiss is back in Sonia’s life
The week gets off to a bad start for Sonia, who is horrified to discover that she owes a whopping amount of inheritance tax on Dot’s house.
Her stress about affording the sum leads to her getting in touch with Reiss, who says he can’t help. It’s a blow that results in Sonia coming to the conclusion that she’ll have to sell Dot’s house in pay the bill. But what she isn’t expecting is for Reiss to then turn up on her doorstep.
He explains that he never meant to ghost her following the funeral. And as the two of them sit down to look at the paperwork, they try to find a solution to the financial problems facing Sonia. But when she later makes a move on Reiss, how will he respond?
Bernie’s new job
There’s bad news for Bernie, who’s sacked by a cost-cutting Nish. Felix then tries to secure her a job at the Albert, but it soon becomes clear that Kim wants him rather than Bernie.
However, Kim does try to do the right thing by Bernie and manages to wangle a trial shift for her at the café. And Bernie finds herself excited by the prospect of starting work on Monday alongside Kathy and Rocky.
