Following her recent split from husband Phil, Kat tried to move on by starting a fling with the Square's local villain. It's been quite turbulent though, with the pair recently deciding to call their relationship off.
The episode began with Nish evicting Kat and the boys from his house after their break-up.
"I thought things were alright between us," said Kat, before Nish replied: "They were, then they weren't. You treated me like a mug, Kat. You reap what you sow."
Things turned from bad to worse for Kat, as she was threatened by Phil when she arrived at his house to look for Bert's missing toy. As she was leaving, Kat then got into a fight with Priya, before Callum and Ben arrived to diffuse the situation.
Later, Kat was distraught to find out that Tommy has decided to live with Phil. She quickly made her way to Number 55 to reveal to her son that Phil cheated on her.
An upset Tommy run away after learning of Phil's indiscretions, before Nish found him and took him home.
After bringing Tommy back, Nish was apologetic and put his differences with Kat aside – with the pair agreeing to try and make things work between them.
"I was angry, all right? My temper got the better of me and I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry," said Nish, adding: "I should've handled things better. I guess I didn't realise how much I liked you till you ended it."
As the couple returned home to celebrate their reunion, Nish revealed to Priya that not all is as it seems. "She has value, Priya," he admitted. "It's the golden ratio, 20% romance, 80% usefulness."
Will Kat find out Nish's secret plan?
