Queensland coast rocked by earthquake

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Queensland.

The quake hit roughly 250km east of Rockhampton at 11am on Friday, Geoscience Australia confirmed.

There wasn’t any immediate reports of damage in the land area surrounding the quake location.
