Duo charged over pizza delivery shooting

A man and woman have been charged with opening fire in a Melbourne home during a pizza delivery.

Lisa Wyka, 34, and Dean Gardiner, 32, allegedly entered the St Albans home in the city's northwest on June 23 and fired shotguns, placing four men in danger of death, court documents outline.

The shooting occurred while a man was delivering pizza to the address but he was not hurt, while another man, 37, was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries, police earlier said.

Wyka and Gardiner did not appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court where their matters were mentioned on Friday.

Both are charged with 11 firearm and assault-related offences each over the St Albans incident, while Wyka also faces a charge of cannabis cultivation.

The court was told two firearms and 10 cannabis plants had been seized in relation to the charges.

There was no bail application, and Wyka and Gardiner were remanded in custody ahead of an October 4 committal case conference.
