It was business as usual for the Duchess of Cambridge today as she headed back to work after a hectic weekend celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

And it was a return to one of her favourite 'work uniform' looks too as Kate sported a £50 cream Zara blazer and black trousers as she visited a children's charity in London.

The Duchess teamed the sleek collarless jacket with a round-neck tee and wide-legged black trousers, carrying a small cream woven clutch bag.

She wore her hair long and loose and kept her make-up classic for the visit to the Little Village Brent which is London's largest baby bank network providing support for families who may be going through tough times.

Kate looked fresh and in high spirits after what was an undoubtedly hectic weekend which had seen the entire Royal family supporting the Queen and celebrating her 70 years on the throne.

The Duchess and her husband Prince William had been joined throughout the weekend by their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis which meant the couple juggling parenting with their Royal duties.

The family had joined other Royals at the Trooping of the Colour, appeared on the palace Balcony for the Red Arrows flypast, travelled to Cardiff for Jubilee celebrations in Wales and attended the Party at the Palace and the Jubilee Pageant.

Four-year-old Prince Louis in particular gave the Duchess a challenge as he playfully pulled faces at his mum during Sunday's Jubilee Pageant.

But the Duchess took everything in her stride, despite being under the public gaze. She even joked later on the family Instagram account that they had all had an "incredible time – especially Louis".
