Elderly driver, 101, dead after crashing into fence
A 101-year-old man has died in a car crash in Sydney’s east.
Emergency services were called to Lancaster Road, Dover Heights, on Monday about 11.50am after a Mercedes crashed into a fence.
The driver, an elderly man, was treated by paramedics but died.
An investigation into the crash has been launched.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
