The chilling last footage of a missing mother has been shared by police as they desperately search for her.
Erica Hernandez, 40, was last seen leaving a friend's house in the Texas city of Houston, on April 17.
Ms Hernandez is a single mother with three children, aged 19, 15 and 3.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Ms Hernandez went to her sister-in-law's house on the evening of April 17 while her children sat in the car.
Doorbell footage from the visit shows Ms Hernandez leave the house and get back into her car. She then reportedly drove her kids home before leaving for a friend's house later that night.
She reportedly left the friend's house around 2.30am and hasn't been seen from since, her family say.
Family remain hopeful mum will be found
Despite her missing for more than a week, the woman's younger sister, Ashley Hernandez, remains hopeful of a positive breakthrough in the case after the FBI announced it was now joining the hunt.
“It does give me a little more hope," she told local outlet KHOU-11.
“I’m pretty sure somebody knows something. She didn’t just disappear into thin air.”
At a press conference on Monday (local time) local congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee called on the community to help in the search.
"Someone has seen something. Someone knows something. Someone is not saying something," she said.
Houston Police say the case currently remains a missing persons case with a reward for any information the leads to her location.
