Donald Trump gets Melania’s name wrong as she leaves hospital
Melania Trump has left hospital and is now recovering at home after undergoing kidney surgery.
Her husband the President, made the announcement via Twitter, but there was something a little off about his choice of words.

Thanks to an unfortunate typo, he said, “Great to have our incredible First Lady back home in the White House. Melanie is feeling and doing really well.”
Naturally, the tweet was quickly amended, but not before other social media users had a good chuckle at Donald’s expense.

In case anyone wanted to know why Melania was in the hospital it was apparently an exchange. In went Melania, and out came someone named Melanie?

The error comes after questions were raised over the President’s whereabouts when Melania was admitted to hospital.
He tweeted about being on his way over to see her after it was revealed her surgery had been successful. Then his schedule for that morning started circulating, and showed that he didn’t have that jam-packed a day.
