Boy, 6, found after going missing while walking home from school

A six-year-old boy has been found after it is believed he went missing while walking home from a school in Sydney’s northwest.

The child was last seen about 3.10pm Thursday on Brett Place after leaving a nearby school on Church Street at West Pennant Hills.

Officers from Ryde Police Area Command were notified and a search, with assistance from the Traffic & Highway Patrol Command, Public Order and Riot Squad (PORS), PolAir and the Dog Unit, was conducted.

The boy was described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, thin build and with short black hair.

He had been wearing a school uniform of a blue shirt, grey pants, and black shoes.
