Desperate search for elderly woman missing from campground
Serious concerns are held for a missing 73-year-old woman who was last seen at a campground on the NSW north coast.
The alarm was raised when Annemarie Jeffery failed to return to her campsite in Lake Arragan, just north of Brooms Head.
She was last seen on Tuesday about 9am and her family have not been able to locate her since.
Ms Jeffery is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a slim build and grey hair.
She was wearing a red and pink top, woollen leggings (seen in image on right), red shoes, and a beanie.
A large scale search in underway with officers from Coffs Clarence Police District, SES, National Parks and Wildlife (NPWS).
The Westpac helicopter is conducting a search of the area, including surrounding bushland.
Anyone who sees Ms Jeffery is urged to contact police.
