Desperate search at Bondi Beach ends after swimmer found safe and well

A search for a reported missing swimmer has been called off at Bondi Beach after he was found “safe and well”.

The swimmer was last seen off Icebergs at the popular Sydney beach on Friday at 11.30am and the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter has dropped sea marker dye into the water.

The dye was placed where the swimmer was last seen and will show the direction and speed of the rips.
