A delivery driver was robbed of parcels by three men the victim says were carrying a gun.

The men got out of a silver Ford Mondeo in Southfields Drive, Eyres Monsell, Leicestershire, just after 12:45 BST on Wednesday and threatened the driver.

The victim, in his 20s, had parcels taken before the men left in the car.

Leicestershire Police says a number of parcels were later found dumped in Aylestone Meadows.

Det Insp Kev Hames called for witnesses to the incident or who saw a group of men acting suspiciously to come forward, adding the incident took place close to the busy A563 ring road so dashcam footage may have been captured.

No arrests have been made at this time, added the force.
