Delivery driver catches three-year-old girl dangling over balcony
A three-year-old girl has miraculously survived a 12-storey fall after a man heroically raced to catch her.
Footage of the horrifying ordeal shows the young girl dangling from a balcony at an apartment building in Vietnam.
Delivery driver Nguyen Ngoc Manh heard a child crying while he was sitting in his parked car near the complex on Sunday, but initially thought the child was having a tantrum, VN Express International reported.
He soon realised the situation was much more sinister.
Manh ran to the building, scaled a two-metre wall and tried to determine where the child would land.
"I scaled the wall and saw that she could fall onto the metallic roof of the house used to store electric generators for the complex, so I tried to climb on top of it. I made it, but couldn’t stand firmly as the roof was crooked," Manh told VN Express International.
Footage then shows the child plummet from the balcony railing, as another security camera captures the moment Manh catches her. She was later admitted to hospital with a dislocated hip.

Manh said everything happened in seconds and he can't understand how he was able to scale onto the balcony so quickly.
Despite his actions, Manh does not think of himself as a hero.
"I don’t see myself as a hero. I just want to do good," he said, adding he hopes his life will return to normal soon so he can look after his family.
