Debris Sent Flying as Waterspout Reported on Maryland's Smith Island

A waterspout causing significant damage was reported on Smith Island, Maryland, on August 4, officials said.

Tiffanie Woutila posted video showing debris and destroyed homes in Rhodes Point.

The National Weather Service issued a Special Marine Warning for Chesapeake Bay and Tangier on Thursday evening.
