DeAngelo Hall, Bram Weinstein to join Julie Donaldson in revamped Washington radio booth

The Washington Football Team is getting a revamped radio booth to go along with their new name.

Following last month’s announcement that Julie Donaldson would be the team’s new radio host and anchor, Donaldson herself announced on Tuesday who will be joining her in the broadcast booth this season.

Retired defensive back DeAngelo Hall is being brought on as an analyst, and sportscaster Bram Weinstein is joining the booth as the new play-by-play guy.

Hall played for Washington for a decade, from 2008 through his retirement after the 2017 season. He was a fan favorite who made three Pro Bowls (2005, 2006, 2010), and in 2010 tied the NFL record for the most interceptions in a game with four.

Weinstein is a former SportsCenter host who does frequent radio and TV work in Washington, D.C.

This new team is replacing the entire booth from last season. Larry Michael, the team’s longtime play-by-play announcer, abruptly resigned in July after he was accused of misconduct in the Washington Post’s in-depth story exposing widespread sexual harassment on the team. Chris Cooley and Rick “Doc” Walker, both former Washington players who served as analysts on the radio broadcast, were not brought back this season.
