Dashcam captures shocking moment rocks pelted from overpass
Shocking footage has been shared online showing a number of rocks being pelted from an overpass before striking a windscreen in Victoria.
Andrew Martin posted a video on his Facebook page on Sunday, along with pictures of damage to his vehicle and wrote that they “threw at least 2 rocks the size of a melon.”
One of the rocks appears to break up on impact with the truck during the incident which is believed to have taken place on the Western Highway at Melton, northwest of Melbourne.
Mr Martin wrote online that it was lucky one “didn’t go through or get my driver’s window.”
The video on Mr Martin’s Facebook has been viewed more than 147,000 times in just 18 hours.
