Just a few weeks after it was revealed that Urzila Carlson will not be returning to The Masked Singer this year, Dannii Minogue has now shared that she also won’t be a part of season four.

The beloved TV personality, who has been a judge on the singing competition since it began in 2019, announced over the weekend that she was leaving the show due to scheduling conflicts.

“My fashion commitments in the UK conflict with scheduling of The Masked Singer filming this year, so unfortunately I won’t be returning,” she told the Herald Sun.

“I am sure with borders opening there will be loads of great surprises for everyone. I’ve loved every minute working on TMS and will miss my Inspector Minogue role.”

Dannii currently has a successful fashion line with both Target Australia and QVC UK called Dannii Minogue Petites, which offers stylish clothing proportioned for women of heights 160cm or below.

Urzila previously confirmed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this month that she won’t be returning to The Masked Singer because she will be on her comedy tour.

“The first year I was just filling in for Lindsay [Lohan]. And the second year we thought ‘Alright, Lindsay will be back, surely’,” she said. “We don’t know who’s going to be in the seat.”

Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and TV star Dave Hughes are still slated to return to the show next season, with Osher Günsberg serving as host. However, it is currently unknown who else will make up the judging panel and whether or not Lindsay will return.

‘So thrilled’

Dannii’s exit comes shortly after it was announced that she will be hosting a new gay dating reality show in the UK, tentatively titled I Kissed A Boy.

The eight-part series will follow 10 single gay men heading to Europe in the search for love, with applications closing July 15th.

“Having the opportunity to be a part of this show is giving me that flutter-of-love feeling,” Dannii wrote on Twitter alongside the announcement.

“I’m so thrilled that a gay dating show is joining the TV love-search mix. Let’s hope we see some beautiful love stories on our screens, sealed with a kiss! Happy assistant to Cupid.”

Dannii has previously been a judge on The X Factor UK, Australia’s Got Talent and The X Factor Australia.
