Urgent recall of popular milk sold in Coles and Woolworths due to E.coli fears
An urgent recall has been issued for certain milk products from Dairy Farmers sold in Coles and Woolworths as well as other leading stores across NSW.
One-litre Full Cream white milk products with a Use by Date of 25/02/2020 and 3L Full Cream white milk products with a Use by Date of 24/02/2020 are subject to the recall due to fears of an E. coli contamination.
Anyone who has consumed the products and feels ill should seek medical attention immediately.
Customers with the product should dispose of it and contact Lion Dairy & Drinks Consumer Enquiries Centre on 1800 677 852 for a full refund.
“We regret inconvenience this may cause consumers and customers,” Lion Dairy & Drinks said in a statement.
The milk is also sold in IGA and some independent outlets such as milk bars, cafes and convenience stores.
