Daffodil Day

Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s most iconic fundraising event and will take place on Friday 24 August this year. This Daffodil Day the community is encouraged to dedicate a daffodil and show their support for anyone affected by cancer.

By supporting Daffodil Day, Australians will be helping to raise much needed funds for vital cancer research.

Cancer Council is one of the largest independent funders of cancer research in Australia. In 2017, Cancer Council and its research partners directed over $60m to research grants for vital research projects across the country.

Cancer Council works across every aspect of cancer, but we do rely on the generosity of community donations to fund our work.

The community can show their support to someone they love by visiting a local Daffodil Day stall or visiting www.daffodilday.com.au.
