Dad's housemate arrested after six-year-old girl's shocking diagnosis
A 26-year-old man has been arrested after his housemate's six-year-old daughter tested positive for a sexually transmitted disease.
In November, an urgent care clinic in the US state of Arizona contacted the Pinal County Sheriff's Office after the six-year-old girl was diagnosed with the unnamed infection.
During the investigation, the young girl told officers she was sexually assaulted by her dad's 26-year-old housemate Jacob Sullivan, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said.
A warrant for Sullivan's arrest was issued this week and he's now in police custody.

Deputies booked him into jail on three counts of sexual conduct with a minor and he was given a USD$100,000 bond (A$138,741).
On Wednesday (local time), the judge ruled Sullivan was not eligible for bond due to the nature of the offences he's accused of.
"Getting this sexual predator off the streets was our number one priority. I am pleased with our Detectives for making quick work of this suspect," Sheriff Mark Lamb said in a press release.
"I pray that the victim in this case finds comfort and healing. We stand with her and all victims of abuse. We are here for you."
