Dad's chilling phone call after baby found with dog lying on her

Tragic details have emerged about the call a four-month-old baby’s dad reportedly made after he found her unresponsive under a dog.

Raelynn Larrison died on New Year’s Eve at a home in Dayton, Ohio and local authorities started their investigation into the matter that evening after the distressed man, reportedly the baby’s father, made a desperate 911 call.

The man called 911 and said he found the dog lying on top of Raelynn, according to Dayton Daily News, and was “wailing” on the phone and pleading for help, saying the child was not breathing.

He said he didn’t know anything other than “the puppy was just lying on her”.

“She’s not breathing. My baby ain’t breathing,” a man told the dispatcher according to the local publication

Other local news outlets have reported the man was Raelynn’s father, local news station, Dayton 24/7 Now, reported the man had woken up when he found the girl under the dog.

Fundraising page set up to help cover cost of baby’s funeral

Family members have set up a GoFundMe fundraising page online to help cover the cost of Raelynn’s funeral.

“An unexpected tragedy happen last night 12/31/2020, when we lost our beautiful four month niece,” the GoFundMe says.

“Please help in any way you possibly can so that we can lay this beautiful girl to rest.”

The Dayton Daily News reported on Tuesday the cause or manner of death has not been determined.

The Animal Resource Center was called to follow up with the animals in the home, Dayton 24/7 Now reported.

The breed of dog has not been disclosed, though neighbours told the station the dog had gotten out of the property several times.
