Dad, 72, and son, 46, found dead in Adelaide home

A father and son have been found dead in an Adelaide home in a suspected murder-suicide.

Police and paramedics were called to house in West Lakes at 1.30pm on Saturday, where they found two unresponsive.

Paramedics performed CPR but the pair, aged 72 and 46, were pronounced dead at the scene.

"This is a highly distressing incident ... the investigation is in its early stages but it is believed the elderly man killed his son before taking his own life," SA Police said in a statement.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
