Cyclists ploughed down and punched in road rage attack

A driver swerved off the road and ploughed down two cyclists allegedly on purpose because one of them gave her the middle finger in a road rage attack caught on camera.

The Russian driver has been identified as Olga Khartoniuk, 32, and the incident took place on Karl Marx Street in Irkutsk, The Mirror reported.

CCTV footage showed the white Hyundai driver swerve across the road, hit one cyclist on their side before Ms Khartoniuk ploughed straight into another.

A man, believed to be Ms Khartoniuk's boyfriend, arrived at the scene right away and punched the first cyclist who was hit by the car.

Russian police said the incident was not being investigated because no one had reported the attack.
