Cyclist, 16, dies in WA's southwest

A 16-year-old cyclist has died when his bike and a car collided in the South West region of Western Australia.

The teenage boy was riding in Stratham just before 4pm on Monday when he collided with the 4WD at the intersection of Bussell Highway and Jaymon Road, police said.

The boy died at the scene while the car driver, a woman in her 40s, was not injured.
