Shane Warne has lashed out at Marlon Samuels over disparaging remarks the West Indian made about himself, Ben Stokes and Stokes’ wife.

Samuels was widely condemned on Wednesday over his ‘appalling’ comments on social media.

Reacting to a quote from Stokes suggesting Samuels was his “worst enemy”, the West Indian wrote: “No white boy could diss me in the sports and no get back diss look at this b***h still thinking about me give me 14 days with you wife turn her into Jamaican in 14 seconds mate none of yall knows me that simple means it’s my f***ing superior skin tone yall hate f*** you.”

In an explosive tirade, Samuels also took aim at Warne.

“ICC cricketing world Ben b***h Stokes Shane b***h Warne and a few b***h West Indians cricketers … f*** with my army bigger and we richer,” Samuels posted.

Samuels’ response sparked outrage in the cricket community, and Warne has now had his say.

“I’ve just been sent what Samuels has posted re Ben Stokes & I,” Warne tweeted.

“It’s a very sad situation as he obviously needs serious help-but has no friends at all & not even his ex teammates like him.

“Just because you were an ordinary cricketer-no need to be an ordinary person. Get help son.”

But it wasn’t long before Samuels replied.

“Ha ha I need help, is this coming from the first cricketer to do a face surgery to look young,” he wrote on Instagram.

Samuels seemingly took offence to comments from Stokes regarding his recent trip to New Zealand to visit his sick father, where he was forced to quarantine before seeing his family.

“You get off the plane, get your bag, walk out and get told what hotel to go to,” Stokes told BBC.

“There’s no choice, it’s pot luck whether you get a good hotel or not. The government have chosen certain hotels to be the quarantine hotels.

“I posted a few Instagram stories and some of the England boys were messaging me asking, ‘What it’s like?’ and I was saying, ‘It wasn’t the most enjoyable thing you ever have to do, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy’.

“I text my brother saying the same thing, and my brother asked, ‘You wouldn’t even do that to Marlon Samuels?’ I said, ‘No, it’s that bad’, - that’s how tough it was.”

His response was labelled “appalling” by former England captain Michael Vaughan.

Marlon Samuels’ beef with Stokes and Warne

Stokes and Samuels have had a number of run-ins over the years, most notably in the 2016 World T20 final.

Samuels was seen mocking Stokes after the Englishman gave up four-straight sixes to lose the final against West Indies.

Samuels was also seen saluting Stokes after dismissing him in a Test match in 2015.

As for Warne, his beef with Samuels stretches back to 2013 when Samuels threw his bat at the spin king during a game in the Big Bash.

Warne grabbed Samuels by the shirt and angrily pointed in his face after Samuels had impeded one of Warne’s Melbourne Stars teammates while running between wickets.

Samuels then mockingly dedicated a man of the match award to Warne a few years later.

“I played the Test series in Australia and Shane Warne has a problem with me. I’ve never disrespected. I don’t appreciate the way he talks about me,” Samuels said.

“I don’t know why he hates me. It seems as if he has a lot inside him that he needs to come out.

“Maybe it’s because my face is real and his face is not.

“There’s been a lot of negative stuff. Not just the last couple of weeks but the last couple of years.”
