'Whatever he wants': Candice Warner's major sex confession

Candice Warner has been grilled about her sex life with cricket star husband David, admitting he “goes good”.

Appearing on KIIS FM radio with Kyle and Jackie O on Wednesday, Candice was asked about some of the more intimate details of her marriage.

It’s widely thought that elite athletes need to abstain from sex before big games, so Kyle Sandilands thought he’d put that theory to Candice about David.

Here’s how the conversation went down:

Kyle: Do they do the same things as footballers do — abstain from any hanky panky before the game? Or is cricket different?

Candice: It’s individual. It’s what you want to do.

Sandilands: What’s he like, though? Does he withhold it?

Candice: He goes good.

Kyle: So right up until game day, he’s up for it?

Candice: Whatever he wants.

Kyle: I love that, what a good woman. How good’s that? That’s why couples get on well, because you look after each other.

Candice: Every relationship is give and take.

Candice Warner hits out over cheating scandal

Candice, a former elite ironwoman in her own right, has been doing the media rounds in recent weeks after her appearance on reality show SAS Australia.

During an intense grilling on the Channel 7 show, Candice was asked about the ball-tampering scandal that saw David banned for 12 months.

Warner was banned by Cricket Australia, stripped of the vice-captaincy and told he could never hold a leadership role in the national team again.

It was believed Warner was the “architect” of the plan to tamper with the ball during a Test match against South Africa in 2018, with Cameron Bancroft carrying out the deed by rubbing it with sandpaper.

After copping a nine-month suspension, Bancroft implicated Warner as the mastermind of the scandal, saying his older teammate had “suggested” he tamper with the ball.

But according to Candice there might be more to the story.

When asked if her husband had tampered with the ball, Candice said: “No. That’s other people’s opinion. He has never said his part.

“Too many people I feel are quick to make a judgment or opinions on myself or my family.

“The media make us out to be people that we’re not - bad people, bad parents.”

Days later Candice was back on our TV screens on the Morning Show, and wasn’t in the mood to elaborate.

When asked by hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies what it was like being questioned about her husband, Warner said: “It’s hard because I’ve lived it.”

“I’ve experienced every single side of good, bad, of the media and it’s very tough and it’s something that will live for us forever because it’s a personal experience.

“To be interrogated like that, it’s difficult to answer.”

When Gillies said Candice “still wouldn’t give up the Warners’ version of events” she replied: “I was on the show for myself and my family, but I wasn’t there to talk on behalf of David.”
