Crews tackle fire at former factory site
A fire has broken out at a vacant factory site in Somerset.
Three crews are tackling the large blaze at the former Oscar Mayer site in Furnham Road, Chard, which closed in 2021.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service said an outbuilding is on fire, which is believed to be a portacabin.
Residents nearby have been asked to shut their windows and doors as plumes of smoke can be seen billowing from the site.
