A Covid denier has been filmed coughing on shoppers before mocking them in a supermarket.

The unnamed woman was filmed at a Super Saver supermarket in Lincoln in the US state of Nebraska on August 27.

In the video posted to Twitter, she coughs on the people filming her as she tries to pass them. She is not wearing a mask.

The woman filming calls staff in, complaining about the coughing woman’s behaviour.

"You guys are so cute," she says.

Another woman asks her why she’s not wearing a mask and she says she doesn’t need to have one because she’s not sick and “neither are you”.

"I have allergies. Maybe I have a medical issue. I don't need to wear a mask,” she says, before stepping forward to cough close to the other shoppers.

It’s not clear what sparked the confrontation but the woman filming claims she continued to follow her around the supermarket.
