* New locally acquired cases: 97 (up 32 on prior 24-hour period)

* Infectious while in the community (partly or fully): At least 46

* In hotel quarantine: One

* Total for current outbreak (since June 16): 1026

* Total in NSW for entire COVID-19 pandemic: 6527

* Currently hospitalised: 75

* Currently in intensive care units: 18 (one in their 20s, one in their 30s, two in their 40s, five in their 50s, five in their 60s, three in their 70s and one in their 80s)

* Currently ventilated: Five

* Deaths amid current outbreak: Two (zero in latest 24-hour period)

* Deaths in NSW for entire pandemic: 58

* Tests conducted (over 24-hour reporting period): 77,587

* Borders: Greater Sydney residents are not permitted to visit regional NSW unless for essential activity, and cannot freely enter any other Australian state or territory. Travel restrictions for residents of regional NSW vary depending on state.
