GREATER SYDNEY'S COVID-19 OUTBREAK:

* New locally acquired cases: 825 (up 183 on prior 24-hour period)

* Infectious while in the community (partly or fully): At least 96, up to 733

* In hotel quarantine: seven

* Total for outbreak (since June 16): 11,395

* Total in NSW for entire COVID-19 pandemic: 16,984

* In hospital : 516

* In intensive care: 85

* Ventilated: 29

* Deaths in current outbreak: 68

* Deaths in NSW for entire pandemic: 124

* Tests conducted (over 24-hour reporting period): 124,610

* Vaccinations in NSW (on Thursday): 120,581

* Total vaccinations administered in NSW (as of Friday): 5,766,280

* Vaccination coverage in NSW (aged 16 and over, as of Thursday): 57.56 per cent have had at least one dose, 30.81 are fully vaccinated.

* Borders: Greater Sydney residents are not permitted to visit regional NSW unless for essential activity, and cannot freely enter any other Australian state or territory. Regional NSW residents are also barred from freely entering other states or territories, with limited exceptions.
