Naked couple exposed in Google Maps street view blunder

An eagle-eyed Google Maps user has spotted a frisky couple completely nude and apparently in the middle of a steamy tryst by the side of a mountain road.

The unusual images have seen tens of thousands of social media users flock to Google Maps to find the location – Shantian Road in Taichung’s Taiping District in West Taiwan.

The couple in an intimate embrace – without any of their clothes on – were captured by a passing Google Street View car this year before having their pictures uploaded to the widely used mapping service.

People eager to find the remote location will first spot the lovers’ white KIA SUV parked by the side of the narrow mountain road, which is surrounded by forests on the outskirts of the city.

The couple are yet to be identified, and it is unknown whether they are aware of their exposure by the Google vehicle.

The social media user who spotted the photos of them in the act wrote: “I took a look on Google to see whether I’d find some animals, and unexpectedly came across this wonderful sight!”

“Google Maps is the greatest ever invention.”

A Google spokesperson told The Sun: “Users can refer to Google’s content policy instructions to understand what content is prohibited and restricted, such as not allowing pornography, explicit or sexually suggestive content.”
