The pair intended to arrive back home in Northam on Sunday afternoon or evening. The trip from Bald Head to Northam is roughly a five-hour drive.

Police said the two had missed other commitments since failing to return home and the situation was out of character for the pair.

A concerned family member made the trip down to Bald Head and located their black two-door Holden Barina, but they did not locate either Ms McCloy or Mr Bignell.
