'UNACCEPTABLE!' Couple find melted disposable glove in takeaway pasta dish

A couple ordering takeaway from their favourite restaurant were left gagging after finding a melted plastic glove mixed into their pasta.

Laurie Graham, from Santa Monica, California, said she ordered the chicken alfredo from their local Cheesecake Factory restaurant on Monday (local time) to be delivered - but it wasn’t until they started eating that they noticed the unwanted ingredient.

“This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!” she wrote in a Facebook post.

“When we opened our Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken there was a PLASTIC GLOVE melted into the noodles. I immediately contacted the manager Ryan and he said he would have to speak to his manager and call me back tomorrow.

“THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE - this needs to be addressed and we need to be compensated immediately.”

Ms Graham posted evidence of the disturbing find on her Facebook page, and even revealed her partner found the glove after biting into it.

“He was nauseous all last night and no appetite today,” she wrote.

Photos show the transparent glove sitting on top of the pasta, covered in creamy sauce.

“I want to vomit,” one Facebook user wrote.

“Trust me we both did,” Ms Graham replied.

“That is completely disgusting! I would be so upset!” Another person said.

“Ewww. That makes me never want to eat out again,” a third woman wrote.

The Cheesecake Factory issued an apology to the couple and offered them a $200 gift certificate.

“We are very concerned to hear of this complaint and are reviewing our food safety procedures with the restaurant team,” a spokesperson for the restaurant said.
